I want to thank my sponsors who provided me with advice and encouragement leading up to my pitch at the ArchSummit event on October 26th. The presentation went well, considering it was only an 8-minute pitch in front of a panel of 7 judges for the 13th edition of Fit4Start.
Unfortunately, I wasn't selected as one of the 15 startups out of the 67 who pitched. However, the experience was incredibly instructive, and I was able to network within this unique ecosystem.
As the article linked hereunder explains, the 15 selected startups had the most potential based on having a commercialized product, a first base of customers/users, market references, and a strong team.
Despite not being selected, the Sendplify adventure isn't over yet. I will be returning to you soon to begin development on our mobile app, pending decision and approval from the Comex.
Looking back, I realize that the pitch was a valuable exercise in focusing our message and identifying areas where we can improve. Moving forward, we will be working to strengthen our product, our user base, and our team to become more competitive in future opportunities.
